   •	The main country of operation is the Republic of South Africa.
   •	The Company is not incorporated in the UK, so the rights of shareholders may be different from the rights of shareholders in a UK incorporated company.

7. SHARES ON ISSUE
   As at 01 February 2012, Ferrum had in issue 298,691,705 ordinary shares of no par value ("Ordinary Shares"). No shares are held in treasury. In so far as the Company is aware, the percentage of Ordinary Shares not in public hands was 15.5%.
